C’mon, admit it. When your mate told you he’s getting married, the first thing to pop into your mind was “sweet, strip club!”
And rightly so. Strip clubs have long been hailed as the holy grail of bucks party ideas.
They’re pretty much everywhere as well. Most major cities and regional centres will have a strip club or two within their limits, meaning you don’t have to travel too far to take the bachelor party to one of these establishments.
A quick look at a strip club’s website will usually reveal the bucks party package deal where the groom gets some ‘special attention’. They’re pretty much set up for a bunch of men to rally together to have a good time, enjoy some drinks, music, have a dance and, of course, check out some fine specimens of the finer sex.
Shows range from pole dances, to Champaign glass shows, to bubble baths or whips, chains and angle grinders. They can be R rated, XXX and OMG, that’s gotta be banned in 43 states of America.
The girls can be themed as police officers, cheerleaders, librarians or a plumber named Ron (if you’re into that sort of thing).
But remember, where there are fine, fine ladies taking off their clothes for a bunch of testosterone fuelled men that are three parts to the wind, there will also be big burly ‘I’ll snap that hand off and put it where the sun don’t shine’ bouncers whose job it is to protect these fine, fine ladies from unwanted advances.
Strip clubs are pretty good at spelling out the rules though, so just like in paintballing, you’ll be told what’s out of bounds and how much 100 balls will cost you…
While everyone gets pretty excited about having the strip club bachelor party, make sure it’s the right option for the buck (and his fiancé). Some are all for a full on no-hold-barred night of debauchery, others will be OK with being part of a show or watching an R rated show, while nakedness of other females will be totally off the cards for others.
Luckily, strip clubs cater for all types of bucks parties, so if you get in touch and let them know what you’re after, no doubt they’ll be able to cater for all of the bachelor party’s needs.
